LITURGY AND SACRAMENTS

This section of the website is devoted to chapters on two diverse subjects, namely Liturgy and the Sacraments.  They are included together because I do not plan to have many chapters on either topic.  One of the two chapters posted here was written ten years ago and the other appeared in print 34 years ago.   

         The chapter Distribution of Psalms in the Psalter was written when I started praying the Liturgy of the Hours every day, and I became curious about the rationale behind the arrangement of the psalms. The chapter probably contains several times as much information as any reasonable person would like to know about the subject, but it was enjoyable writing it.  The 34 year old article Science and the Eucharist was my first attempt at composing a theoscience document.
